Welcome to our La Bella Vita blog. It has been my desire for many months to create a forum for discussion on cultural learning for our staff and stinter's. What I really wanted to do is meet each week for pranzo since both cooking and eating have been so important in my cultural journey. Given the impossibility of this, someone suggested meeting on the Internet. My response, "Oh yeah, I've heard of that," gives you a clue to where I am in the Internet age. So, welcome to my first attempt at blogging. Even though I would rather talk loudly with hand gestures than write, my prayer is that through our discussions here we can open many windows to the culture that will help us all in our journey to becoming cultural insiders. Please help me in the development of this forum with lots of suggestions and feedback.
